Atlas/ Broadreach Residency

Between July and October 2014 I had the pleasure of working with Atlas Arts, undertaking one of their Broadreach residencies on North Uist. This sensory mapping project examined life and landscape in North Uist, as experienced by participants of the Craigard Centre in Loch Maddy.
One of the outcomes of this residency and collaboration was a ‘skills share game based on both the skills of the participants and the wider crofting community. Each flash card contains three symbols relating to a tradition crofting skill, a reference to the natural world and a pattern found in the landscape.
